Our recruitment firm MEOW Consultancy complies with the transparency obligation arising from Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data ("GDPR") as well as applicable national legislation.

 

 

FIELD OF APPLICATION

The data that you have just communicated to us and that we collect is subject to automated processing carried out by our recruitment firm MEOW Consultancy - 144 Avenue Charles de Gaulle 92200 NEUILLY-SUR-SEINE - 980 862 452 RCS NANTERRE on behalf of our customers to enable them to manage the recruitment process for their future employees. Once your application has been examined by our teams, we communicate all the information you have sent us to their human resources departments for the purpose of processing and managing your application. This data processing is necessary to process your application.

The purpose of the processing carried out by our departments is to : 

  • Manage the recruitment process,

  • Fulfill compulsory formalities and fill in the administrative file of successful candidates. 

If you wish, the information you provide may be added to our Resume Database or used to respond to other job offers.

Protecting your personal data is our top priority. This privacy policy describes how we manage and process personal data relating to :

  • Candidates who apply to us for jobs we manage on behalf of other companies or through our website, job boards, social media sites or any other source,

THE DATA WE COLLECT

Candidates

To meet these purposes, only personal information strictly necessary to assess your suitability for the job offered or to measure your professional aptitude will be requested during the selection phase. To this end, we will ask you for data relating to the diplomas you have obtained, your professional experience, and your professional skills and aptitudes in relation to the position offered. Failure to provide this information will make it impossible for you to take part in the recruitment process. 

Should your application be selected for a contract, we will ask you for the information and supporting documents required to complete the compulsory formalities. The submission of this information is a prerequisite for the conclusion of an employment contract for successful candidates. In addition, the transmission of certain categories of information and supporting documents (civil status, address, social security registration number, residency status, etc.) is mandatory for successful candidates. Consequently, failure to provide this information will make it impossible to conclude an employment contract. 

When you use our website, click on links in e-mails we send you, open or forward them, or subscribe to receive job alerts or other information from us, we also collect personal data as part of these interactions.

We also receive personal data about you from third-party sources, such as :

  • Referees: when you are offered a position,

  • Former employers: to confirm the periods during which you were employed,

  • Educational institutions: to verify your academic qualifications,

  • Credit reference agencies: if we need to verify your financial situation,

MEOW Consultancy is responsible for processing your data.

We collect your contact details as well as information relating to your function or position in order to establish business relations with your organisation.

We collect personal data including your name, position and contact details. We also process personal data relating to exchanges we have with you, in particular if you have consulted or sent e-mails, newsletters or other items we have communicated to you. We also process the feedback you give us on the candidates we present to you.

MEOW Consultancy acting as data controller in this case will be the contractual partner in the contract we enter into with you or the company you represent. 

If you provide us with information about a candidate (for example, if you indicate that he or she has worked with you or if you provide a reference), we will obtain your contact details from the candidate and store the personal data you provide about him or her.

We process personal data about you from public sources such as LinkedIn and social networking sites, or when you have been a delegate at one of our events or an event for which the event organizer is authorized to provide us with delegate contact details.

Suppliers

We generally collect your name and contact details as a business contact for your organisation. The MEOW Consultancy entity acting as data controller in this case is the contracting entity of the contract we establish with you or with the company you represent.

Users of our website or applications

We record personal data such as your IP address and other data relating to your device, which we need to offer you our online content. We also collect data on the use of our website or applications, such as the pages you have visited. If you contact us, we will collect information about your inquiry. ACCESS AND USE OF DATA COLLECTED IN CONNECTION WITH THE EXAMINATION OF APPLICATIONS

Candidates

Your application will be treated as confidential. The only people who have access to your personal data are those in charge of the departments interested in your application (consultants, recruitment officers, managers, etc.). In the event of a positive outcome to the recruitment process, and in order to finalise it, we or the human resources departments will be required to pass on some of the information gathered to the organisations informed of your hiring (in particular unemployment insurance, health insurance, retirement, mutual insurance). 

We process your personal data as follows:

  • Communicate with you,

  • Allow you to submit your CV and apply for jobs,

  • Create a candidate profile,

  • Ensure equality and diversity,

  • Provide you with interview and salary advice,

  • Send you prospecting messages to inform you of job opportunities, industry reports and information, events, promotions and competitions, and other content, in accordance with your marketing choices.

  • We also publish targeted, relevant banner ads on our website and in your social networks to present you and like-minded people with job offers and content that we think may be of interest to you. We serve these ads based on your previous experiences on our website, your e-mails and your interactions with our consultants. Your use of our advertisements may be used to measure the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns and to improve our marketing approach. This processing is carried out using cookies and only if you have given your prior consent.

We do not rely solely on automated processing - our decision-making is always preceded by human intervention.

THIRD PARTIES WITH WHOM WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

If you are a candidate, we share your personal data with customers who have vacancies for jobs that interest you. The legal basis for these processing activities is the performance of the contract with the clients or candidates or the taking of measures essential to the performance of a contract, as well as MEOW Consultancy's legitimate interests in offering its services using its internal resources.

We also share your personal data and, where necessary and permitted by law, information about special categories of data with third-party service providers who provide services and perform functions on our behalf, such as:

  • Employment reference checks,

  • Qualification checks,

  • Criminal conviction checks (where necessary),

  • Verification of data submitted by you from third-party sources,

  • Carrying out psychometric assessments or skills tests,

  • Hosting personal data for us,

GUARANTEEING THE PROTECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA


We implement and maintain appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the protection of your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure or unauthorised access. Only authorised personnel and third-party service providers may access personal data on a need-to-know basis, and such employees and service providers are contractually bound to treat such data as confidential.

HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA

 

Data is kept for as long as is necessary to complete the recruitment process. Data concerning successful candidates will be included in their administrative file and will be kept for the duration of our business relationship.

 

At the end of the recruitment process, data concerning unsuccessful candidates will be kept for two years after the last contact with the candidate, exclusively with a view to feeding a CV database and, if necessary, proposing new job offers and supporting them in their professional placements.


Candidate data may be stored in an intermediate archive for evidentiary purposes, in particular to protect against any claims of discrimination, for a period of five years from the end of the recruitment process.

 

In the event of recruitment, the data may be kept by the employer for the duration of the employment contract. Human resources departments are the recipients of this data. 

 

The data controller undertakes not to transfer your personal data outside the European Union as part of its processing operations.

 

You have a right of access and rectification. In the event of legitimate reasons, you also have the right to delete, limit or oppose the processing of your data. You also have the right to data portability. You also have the right to give instructions concerning your data in the event of your death. YOUR RIGHTS AND HOW TO EXERCISE THEM 

 

European "data protection" legislation gives you a range of rights. These include the right of access to your personal data. Within this framework, you can ask us for a copy of your personal information; rectify, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data; recover personal data that you have provided to us under a contract or with your consent in a structured, machine-readable format; and ask us to share ("port") it with another data controller.

 

You also have the right to rectify and delete this data, as well as the right to object to its processing. 

 

These rights may be restricted, in particular if the execution of your request reveals personal data concerning another person, if it infringes the rights of a third party (including our rights) or if you ask us to delete data that we are required to retain by law or that we have compelling legitimate interests in retaining.
